Set clear and specific goals to maintain focus and boost motivation

Write down what you want to achieve this year or this season...

What do you want to achieve?

Identify the obstacles to these goals?

How are you going to overcome these challenges?

Establish specific goals for each challenge...one by one

Focus on the present, the past can't be changed, and you are aiming for a brighter future...

SCAMP Goals...

Specific - avoid 'improvement' goals, instead focus on goals that can be measured

Challenging and Controllable - Goals should be achievable but should push you, keep these objectives within your personal control

Attainable - goals should relate to where you are now, and should be achievable and realistic

Measurable and Multiple - Progress is a great motivator, but you can only see progress when it is clearly defined. Multiple goals increase possibility of success, so set goals for different aspects of your training and development

Personal and Progresive - When you reach a goal, you're not done. Keep your end goal, your ambitions in mind, the goals are the steps to reaching your potential
