Set high standards, get out your comfort zone

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us"

When you picture yourself 10 or 20 years from now, what do you see? Who do you see? Do you have a positive image of the future, if not, how can you change that?

It is so important to remind yourself of your ambitions everyday, and to aim high, so high that you feel a bit uncomfortable. This gets your adrenalin pumping, and motivates you to act. A bit uncomfortable...not so much that you feel paralized, but enough that you believe you can achieve your dreams when you are at your best. That's what we are pushing to do, be our best, everyday. But who is at their best everyday? Nobody! Recognize that, and forgive yourself when you don't achieve the short term goals for the day, and go again. Find the balance between aiming high, but not giving up because of one small obstacle, or even one big obstacle. Keep...going. Keep a sense of humor through it all, we can't take life too seriously. You can aim high, and do so with a smile. Enjoy the challenge, you'll feel proud at every accomplishment along the way, you'll feel confdient, you're self worth will grow, and in the end, whether you achieve that final dream or not, you'll feel proud that you went all in and gave it everything you had!

Write down your ambition.

Write down where you see yourself in 10 or 20 years

Who do you see?

What do you see?

How does it feel?

How much do you want to get there?

What are you willing to sacrifice?

When things get really tough, will you continue?

When people doubt you, will you believe in yourself?

Visualize this again and again until it becomes so clear that it feels like a reality.
